SEOUL NATIONAL UNIVERSITY
Seoul National University (SNU) was founded in 1946 as the first national university in Republic of Korea and is considered as the most prestigious university in the country. Located in the southern part of Seoul, with the largest campus in the capital city, it consists of 16 colleges, 1 Graduate School and 10 Professional Schools, 2,620 full-time faculty members, 16,511 undergraduate students and 12,119 graduate students.

The Graduate School of Public Administration (GSPA) of Seoul National University is one of the top leading education institutions in Asia that achieved its success through its world-class research and educational infrastructure, strong ties and network with developing countries, and numerous professional training programs. According to the 2017 QS World University Ranking by Subject, in the area of Social Policy & Administration, Seoul National University has been ranked as 15th in the world, showing its upward trend up from the 17th place in 2016.
The GSPA has 28 full-time faculty members, whose research expertise ranges over diverse topics including but not limited to: public administration, public policy, economics, political science, law, social science, and journalism. There are also three research centers (The Korea Institute of Public Affairs, Asia Development Institute, and Institute of Policy Knowledge & Information) and six Research Center Clusters (Research Center for Public Administration & Policy, National Leadership Center, Center for Organizational Diagnosis & Evaluation Research, Center for Survey Research, Public Performance Management Research Center, and Research Center for Market and Government). Each year, the graduate school holds seminars with more than 30 international scholars and hosts around 5 international workshops or gatherings.

How to reach Seoul?
The biggest airport in Republic of Korea is Incheon (IATA code: ICN); Airport limousine bus is the preferred mode of transportation between the Incheon international airport and SNU (as listed below).
